Evaluation Branch

Coverage for the extratropical storm surge model is shown for the East Coast (21K), the Gulf of Mexico (25K), and Norton Sound, Alaska (20K). The winds and pressures needed to drive this surge model are taken from one of the NWS's atmospheric forecast models, the Aviation Model (AVN).
