  • DNA Interactive: A multimedia resource for high school and introductory college biology students and teachers. Developed by Cold Springs Harbor Laboratories (2003).
  • Genetics in Clinical Practice: A Team Approach: This genetics program is intended for primary care health care providers who have no formal training in genetics. It provides case scenarios and case discussions by leading experts to be used in the training of students in these professions. Developed by the CDC and Dartmouth Medical School (2002).
  • Medical Genetix: An interactive multimedia program introducing the concepts of genetics and heredity in the context of various genetic disorders. Published and distributed by the University of Melbourne (2003).
  • Roche Genetics Educational Program: An interactive CD-ROM developed to promote basic awareness of genetics in the general public, and offer an interactive tool to learn basic principles of genetics (2003).
  • The Genetic Basis of Cancer: Two modules that present the scientific concepts of the genetic basis for cancer, using breast and colon cancer as examples, and the key issues in patient care including risk assessment, genetic testing, and follow-up care.
  • The New Genetics: Courseware for Physicians: Developed for physicians who have received little or no training in clinical applications of molecular genetics (2001).
  • The New Genetics: Medicine and the Human Genome: Discusses the impact of genetics and genomics on healthcare and society. It is appropriate for non-physician health professionals, medical students, human genetics students, biotechnology trainees, policymakers, and interested members of the public with a foundation in biology (2001).
