GSA offers a wide variety of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) to assist in meeting federal agency's acquisition needs.

2005 Model Year Alternative Fuel Vehicle pricing is available below.  All AFVs are production line models with all of the features and amenities as conventionally fueled vehicles. AFVs have the added benefit of reducing harmful emissions in the air and reducing the nation's dependence on foreign oil. GSA is a full service provider for federal agency's vehicle requirements.

Alternative Fuel Acronyms:

AFV:  Alternative fuel vehicle
Bi-fuel:  Two separate fuel systems
Dedicated:  One fuel system
FFV:  Flexible fuel vehicle
LEV:  Low emission vehicle
CNG:  Compressed natural gas
E85:  Blend of up to 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline
EV:  Electric vehicle
LPG:  Liquefied petroleum gas (Propane)
EPACT:  Energy Policy Act of 1992
CAAA:  Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990
CFFP:  EPA´s Clean Fuel Fleet Program
