Need some help learning how to organize a nonprofit organization and develop a strategy for action?

HUD contracts with national or regional organizations to help community organizations use HUD's programs and resources. These technical assistance providers can help you implement community development programs that use HUD assistance. Technical assistance providers that work with with farmworker groups in Washington include:

 -   Housing Assistance Council - Working to improve housing conditions for the rural poor, with an emphasis on the poorest of the poor in the most rural places.
 -   Rural Community Assistance Corporation - Most services are available to communities with a population fewer than 50,000, as well as low-income individuals.
 -   Enterprise Foundation - Works to provide low-income people with affordable housing, safer streets and access to jobs and child care. Seattle, WA phone (206) 368-0679.
