Hurricane Activity Once Again Forecast Above Normal  

 

The recent NOAA forecast for the 2004 hurricane season points to several indicators that are expected to increase overall tropical activity.  This forecast of above normal activity should be a reminder to home and business owners that the best time to prepare for a possible bout with a tropical system is before supplies run short and long lines develop at your local hardware store.  Persons should remain vigilant to the possibility of a tropical system affecting the region.  Statements, forecasts, and warnings of tropical are provided through NOAA Weather Radio and the National Weather Service Melbourne Tropical Weather Page.
