Expanded trade coverage
In response to user interests, the coverage of the animal products
trade data was updated in July 2004 in the following ways:
Cattle imports
Canadian cattle exceeding 700 pounds for immediate slaughter added
Mutton imports
Australia and New Zealand added
Lamb and mutton exports
Mexico, the Caribbean, and Canada added
Customs Service Weekly imports
Japan deleted
Pork exports
China (Mainland) and China (Taiwan) added
Hog imports
Canadian hogs less than 15 pounds added (which allows the calculation
of the number of animals between 15 pounds and 100 pounds)
Broiler exports
Singapore and Latvia deleted
China (Mainland) introduced as a combined region with Hong Kong
Guatemala and the Caribbean region added
The Commonwealth of Independent States, excluding Russia, added
The region of Eastern Europe added
The Baltic region added
Turkey exports
China (Taiwan) added
Shell egg exports
Japan deleted
Hong Kong, Mexico, and the Caribbean added

Coverage includes the following regions and countries:
Caribbean region (23 countries)
Cuba added to the region
Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda,
British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic,
Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique, Montserrat,
Netherlands Antilles, St. Christopher-Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent
and the Grenadine, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands
Commonwealth of Independent States (11 countries), excluding Russia
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan,
Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan
Eastern Europe (8 countries)
