FAX-ON-DEMAND INSTRUCTIONS
The Bureau of Labor Statistics offers information and data quickly via BLS Ready Facts
a fax-on-demand service. A catalog of documents available through BLS Ready Facts, each
with a corresponding code, is listed below.
To request information from the catalog, dial (415) 975-4567 on a touch-tone phone and
follow the voice instructions to receive the desired documents. You may make up to four
selections per phone call. Should your fax line be busy, the system will try up to
four times to send the information requested before disconnecting.
In addition to the San Francisco regional Ready Facts service, seven other regional Ready
Facts systems have been developed. These regional systems contain all documents available
through the national office service in Washington D.C., (202) 691-6325, as well as
documents highlighting each region's States and metropolitan areas. The BLS Ready Facts
