Grant Writing III & Foundation Development Workshops

The Maumee Valley RC&D will be hosting Grant Writing III Workshops in November and December, 2004 as well as Foundation Development Workshops in December, 2004.

• Grant Writing III:  November 29, 30 & December 1, 2004
  Presenter: Dr. Don Udell
  Location: Evergreen Lane Office Complex, 06879 Evansport Rd., Defiance, Ohio 43512
  Grant Writing III focuses on the total development of the proposal with emphasis on the budget and evaluation components. The participant will graduate with a certificate and a complete proposal. Prerequisite: Grant Writing I & II.
• Foundation Development Workshop:  December 1-3, 2004
  Presenter: Dr. Don Udell
  Location: Evergreen Lane Office Complex, 06879 Evansport Rd., Defiance, Ohio 43512
  The Foundation Development Workshop will focus on how to create a foundation and how to capitalize your foundation.

Presenter: Dr. Don Udell, Udell Consulting, Inc., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Udell has written, directed and received funds for numerous federal, state, and philanthropic grants. He is President of the Udell Foundation.

Costs:
    Grant Writing III-   $250.00
    Foundation Development-   $250.00
    Both Workshops-   $350.00

Registration is due by November 15, 2004.

• Registration costs include breaks, lunch and workshop materials
• Participants are responsible for their own lodging if needed
• Payment must accompany registration
• Limited to first 35 paid participants

What is the Maumee Valley RC&D?

• A regional collation of County Commissioners, Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Members at Large, and Maumee Conservancy District formed to improve the economy and environment of the ten county area.
• An incorporated non profit organization with an IRS 501(c)3 determination.
• A program of the Department of Agriculture, which provides substantial support in terms of staff, office and equipment.

What the Maumee Valley RC&D does:

Maumee Valley RC&D provides a vehicle for units of governments and community organizations to network and combine efforts on regional priorities, share resources, and accomplish grassroots projects. Council members initiate projects and set priorities.
