REASON FOR
ALERT: ***Laboratory analyses have found Citrobacter freundii and
Pseudomonas stutzeri in eyeshadow and Xanthomonas
maltophilia and a high aerobic plate count in the eyeshadow
component of a make-up kit. In addition, a high count of
Staphylococcus saprophyticus was found in the lipstick
components of a cosmetic tote bag.***
INSTRUCTIONS: Automatically detain, without physical sampling and
analysis, all ***lipstick and/or eyeshadow, including
make-up kits/cosmetic tote bags containing these components,
from the firms identified in the attachment to this
alert.***
