Publications

  1. Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) (Copyright © RESOLVE) - This on-line publication gives an understanding about Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART). It provides the different types and a definition for each one.

  2. Basic Fertility Testing With a Reproductive Endocrinologist (Copyright © INCIID) - This fact sheet contains information on infertility, including questions and answers regarding basic testing with a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

  3. Federal resource  Centers of Excellence - Infertility and Innovations in Reproductive Health Technologies - The National Centers of Excellence in Women's Health (CoEs) were established in 1996 by the Public Health Service's Office on Women's Health within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Their mandate is to establish and evaluate a new model health care system that unites women's health research, medical training, clinical care, public health education, community outreach, and the promotion of women in academic medicine. Their goal is to improve the health status of diverse women across the life span.

    This pamphlet highlights some of the innovative activities and programs at the CoEs that address infertility and reproductive health technologies.

  4. Federal resource  Frequently Asked Questions - Infertility - This publication contains information on infertility, including its causes, tests to determine infertility, treatments, an explanation of in vitro fertilization, as well as other forms of assisted reproductive technology.

  5. Insurance Coverage for Infertility Treatment: Study Your Plan to Reverse Claim Denials (Copyright © INCIID) - This publication provides guidelines designed to assist couples who need infertility treatments to overcome some of the obstacles from health insurance companies and employers.

  6. IVF - In Vitro Fertilization (Copyright © INCIID) - This publication provides an overview of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with tips on choosing a clinic and includes a worksheet of questions to ask when interviewing clinics.

  7. Federal resource  Overcoming Infertility - This article discusses how to overcome infertility. It clarifies some of the associated myths and gives practical advice to couples trying to overcome infertility.

  8. Ovulation Drugs: A Guide for Patients (Copyright © ASRM) - This publication is a patient guide. It offers information about normal ovulation, hormone production, diagnosis, treatment, risks and complications of ovulation drugs and a glossary of terms.

  9. Q & A for Injectable Infertility Medications (Copyright © INCIID) - This publication describes injectable infertility medications that are used in the treatment of infertility.
