Personnel Announcement

President George W. Bush today nominated one individual to serve as an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

The President has nominated Craig S. Iscoe of Washington, D.C., to be an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, for a term of fifteen years. Mr. Iscoe has served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia from 1986 to 1991 and from 1992 to the present. He is currently on detail to the Security and Exchange Commission, where he serves as Acting Assistant Chief Litigation Counsel. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Iscoe was detailed to the Office of Deputy Attorney General, in the United States Department of Justice, serving as an Associate Deputy Attorney General. Mr. Iscoe was previously an Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University Law School from 1991 to 1992, a Visiting Professor at Georgetown University Law Center in 1986, and an associate at Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin and Kahn from 1982 to 1985. He also worked as an attorney in the Federal Trade Commission from 1980 to 1982. Mr. Iscoe earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas, his law degree from Stanford University, and his L.L. M. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
