As co-chairs of the Friends of Australia Congressional Caucus, we hope that you will find the information on our website helpful. Although the Pacific Ocean separates our two countries, the friendship between the U.S. and Australia has grown over the years. Australia is more than a friend….they are one of our closest allies.

To continue fostering this friendship, our bipartisan caucus will promote a deeper cultural understanding, enhance our mutual security, and strengthen our economic ties. Even today, both countries are continuing to build better ties as highlighted by ongoing negotiations on a Free Trade Agreement and partnerships in safeguarding our mutual security interest overseas.

The caucus creates a vibrant forum dedicated to growing the important friendship between the United States and Australia. The Caucus will strive to disseminate vital information to key policy makers with the intention to promote a deeper cultural understanding between our nations - one that will enhance our mutual security and strengthen our economic ties.
