Every Community Should Have The Amber Alert System - My bill, co-authored by Rep. Martin Frost of Texas, will make Amber alert available to every community that wishes to launch the program. It creates a permanent point person within the Department of Justice to help coordinate Amber alert efforts, provides grant dollars to help pay for the program, and helps pay for Department of Transportation signs that are also a vital part of the communication effort to find a missing child.

Front Lines Not Forgotten By Administration, Congress- It is unfortunate that the facts have taken a back seat to partisan politics regarding federal dollars spent on homeland security.
