The La Crosse National Weather Service office is located along the Mississippi River in West Central Wisconsin. The office is currently responsible for issuing short-fused warnings (Tornado, Severe Thunderstorm and Flash Flood), short-term forecasts, climate information, and hydrologic products. The National Weather Service La Crosse serves 28 counties, in Northeast Iowa, Southeast Minnesota, and Western Wisconsin.

Our office is dedicated to the continuous improvement in the provision of high quality weather forecast, warning, and educational information services for the safety and overall benefit of the citizens we serve.
