Clean Air Market Programs: - reducing emissions from electricity generation to address acid rain and smog (regional transport of ozone).

Office of Transportation and Air Quality - Market Incentives - provides information on market incentive programs which use the market, rather than regulatory directives, to encourage reduction of polluting activities or increase the use of less-polluting alternatives.

Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards - Innovative Regulatory Strategies Program - includes the development of rules, policies, and guidance on market-based incentive programs that apply to national emission standard programs and State / local air pollution control programs.
