White Mountains
Whitened
New snow is blanketing the White
Mountains National Recreation Area, partly blackened
during the busy 2004 wildfire season.
The

Fire destroyed
the Crowberry
Cabin, but plans
are underway to replace it next summer. The other
public use cabins and 250 miles of winter trails
survived
the fires intact and are ready for use. For an updated list of
current trail conditions, click
