DOCLINE -- Save a Union List Product in a Delimited Format
Question: How do I save a Union List Product in a Delimited format?
Answer:
If you have rights to update your DOCLINE Serial Holdings, then you will have rights to view union lists for Library Groups to which your library belongs to as well as union list for your library's State or Province.
Note: Some of these Union List Products are very large. It may take some time to display the entire union list.
To save a Union List Product in a delimited format using Netscape:
- - On the DOCLINE navigation bar, select Serial Holdings.
- - On the DOCLINE sub navigation bar, select Reports.
- - On the Left Frame, under the Header Union List Products, click on the Union Lists hyperlink.
- - After the report names display in the right frame, click on the appropriate Report Name hyperlink (e.g., the proper report name in delimited format).
- - Select File from the browser bar.
- - Select Save As
- - Enter a file name with file extension ".txt". Example: MDUGHI.txt
- - Click SAVE.
To save a Union List Product in a delimited format using Internet Explorer:
- - On the DOCLINE navigation bar, select Serial Holdings.
- - On the DOCLINE sub navigation bar, select Reports.
- - On the Left Frame, under the Header Union List Products, click on the Union Lists hyperlink.
- - After the report names display in the right frame, Right Click on the appropriate Report Name hyperlink (e.g., the proper report name in delimited format).
- - Click on the "Save Target As" option.
- - Enter a file name. Example: MDUGHI
- - Click on the drop-down list for Save As Type and select "Text File (.txt)"
- - Click SAVE.
