Objective:
Develop a low-cost portable vision device for real-time image acquisition and disease defect detection that can be used to improve the inspection of agricultural products for safety.

Approach:
To select effective lighting, optical filters, prism modules, optical sensors, microprocessor, lenses, etc. for a low-cost, portable vision device that can be used for inspection of agricultural products for diseases, defects, or contaminants. To design electronic integrated circuits for classification operations. To integrate hardware and software of the vision device and test its efficacy.
