Objective:
Evaluate the effect of methyl bromide replacement soil fumigants on pathogen control and plant health in strawberry nursery and production fields. Also will evaluate the effect of fumigants on beneficial microbes in the soil.

Approach:
Evaluate the efficacy of field fumigation on survival of fungal pathogens and beneficial soil microflora. Also will determine health of plants grown in these soils. For trials conducted in strawberry transplant nurseries, the productivity of these plants also will be evaluated in the field. Documents Reimbursable with UC-Davis. Log 18553.
