About the Job:

This position is located in the Directorate for Engineering, Division of Bioengineering & Environmental Systems. The incumbent for this position will support NSF's efforts to promote and fund the best possible awards through grants, cooperative agreements, and other mechanisms by providing administrative support to professional and administrative staff. The individual plays a key role in the processes involved in all grants and/or cooperative agreements including soliciting and evaluating proposals, awarding funds, monitoring the status of grants and cooperative agreements, tracking budgets, and preparing a variety of reports. The work is accomplished through a variety of means including use of computerized systems such as the Proposal Award and Review System (PARS) and FastLane. The individual may work on programs which are funded by more than one directorate or are funded by several Federal agencies or public/private partnerships.

BARGAINING UNIT STATUS: This position is included in the Bargaining Unit and will be filled in accordance with the merit staffing provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Article VII.

The Qualifications Standards Handbook for General Schedule positions will apply.

Relocation expenses for this position will not be paid.
