Welcome to the Oregon Department of Agriculture

The Oregon Department of Agriculture serves the state of Oregon through its three-fold mission: food safety and consumer protection; protection of the natural resource base; and, developing and maintaining markets for agricultural products.

The agency is headquartered in Salem but also maintains offices in Portland and many other communities throughout the state. Through its nine divisions, ODA provides service to all Oregonians, not just those in the agriculture industry.
