Cost Sharing
Cost Sharing subtopics Alphabetical List of All Topics

EPA has developed a number of partnership programs that reach out to business, industry, trade associations, communities, universities, and state and local governments. These programs are intended to help share the burden of achieving environmental goals such as conserving water and energy, reducing greenhouse gases, toxic emissions, solid wastes, indoor air pollution and pesticide risk. In return for their participation, the volunteering organizations receives technical expertise, guidance, publicity and the opportunity to exchange ideas with other cost-sharing partners. Examples of these programs include Partners for the Environment, WasteWise, Energy Star and Adopt Your Watershed!
