TV Ads in Cycle for Use on Cable Stations with Approximate CostOne way to reduce the cost of doing a paid advertising campaign is to use spots for which a portion of the talent payments have already been paid. A spot for which the initial portion of talent payments have been paid is considered to be "in cycle." Once a spot is in cycle, other organizations across the country can add their local markets to the cycle relatively inexpensively. Below is a list of television and radio ads that are currently in cycle as paid spots. Because the primary talent fees have already been paid for these ads, you can use them in your local market at a fraction of the original talent payment. Note the cost range indicated for each ad in the list. The lower cost indicates the approximate fee for cable systems with fewer than 50,000 subscribers. The higher cost indicates the approximate fee for cable systems with more than 1 million subscribers. Consult the Media Campaign Resource Books for descriptions of and background information on these ads. You may order these books by calling the Media Campaign Resource Center at (770) 488-5705, press 2.
