30-second
TV
counter-advertisements
now
available
from
the
Office
on
Smoking
&
Health.
Jeremy
wrote
and
directed
both
spots:
"Suffering"
and
"Anniversary."

The
spots
were
filmed
in
black
&
white,
letterbox
style
(a
technique
using
enclosed
borders
to
give
focus
to
the
content)
on
location
in
Oklahoma
City,
and
include
London
family
members
throughout.
"Suffering"
and
"Anniversary"
focus
on
the
pain
that
losing
someone
from
tobacco
can
cause
to
those
left
behind.
The
tagline
reads:
"Tobacco,
It's
Killing
the
Ones
You
Love." The
spots
were
presented
to
focus
groups
of
smokers
during
the
concept
development
stage,
and
the
final
scripts
and
treatments
incorporate
revisions
that
were
suggested.
Jeremy
played
Griffin
on
the
Golden-Globe-winning
Party
of
Five,
and
Nathan
Bedford
on
the
Emmy-Award-winning
TV
series,
I'll
Fly
Away.
He
has
appeared
in
several
feature
films
including
MallRats,
and
The
Babysitter.
Jeremy
recently
directed
Jeffrey
Wigand
in
the
OSH
educational
video
"Secrets
Through
the
Smoke."
Jason
starred
in
the
year
2000
remake
of
the
film
Jason
and
the
Argonauts.
He
also appeared
in Dazed
and
Confused
and
in
the
films
To
Wong
Foo

Both
