Objective:
1)To conduct foreign exploration on perrennial pepperweed and saltcedar. 2)To assess the effectiveness on natural enemies for saltcedar and perennial pepperweed. 3)To conduct biological studies on target plants and associated natural enemies.

Approach:
Invasive weed germination, growth and reproductive patterns will be assessed, new natural enemies located and their effects on plant growth evaluated. Basic biology studies will be conducted as well as effacacy studies on target plants, and host-specificity tests to ensure that non-target impacts will be minimized.
