Objective:
The objective of this cooperative research agreement is to evaluate the nutsedge biological control agent, dactylaria higginsii, as a component in an integrated pest management program for vegetables.

Approach:
Large-scale field experiments will be conducted to include multiple offseason nutsedge management tools including tillage, herbicide applications and the biological control agent Dactylaria higginsii. A fall tomato crop will then be produced using a conventional system and the bioligicallybased system.
