Welcome!  From the thriving suburbs and neighborhoods of Butler and Montgomery counties to the rich farmland of Darke, Mercer, Miami, and Preble counties, the Eighth District is one of the most dynamic in the State of Ohio.  I am proud to have served my friends and neighbors in the district since 1991.

This site highlights some of the issues I am working on in Congress to help create a smaller, more accountable federal government.  As Chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee and Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Agriculture, I am proud to help deliver on President George W. Bush's promise to reform our schools, ensure greater retirement security, and lower the tax burden for American families, small businesses, and farmers.
