Vitter announces grant to help Bogalusa create jobs

U.S. Rep. David Vitter today announced that the City of Bogalusa will receive $210,000 from the Delta Regional Authority for an access road from La. Hwy. 21 to the north entrance of the Bogalusa Industrial Park. Vitter wrote a letter to the DRA in support of this project for Bogalusa.

“Bogalusa has a tremendous opportunity for expansion and job creation to the area by bringing in a company will create 150 to 300 new jobs in the food processing industry,” said Vitter. “This access road will stimulate the local economy and provide for the long-term growth of the Bogalusa Industrial Park.”
