Miller asks Rumsfeld to consider Selfridge as base for redeployed troops
Washington Congresswoman Candice Miller today sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld asking him to consider Selfridge Air National Guard Base as a base for some of the troops being brought back to America in conjunction with a world wide re-examination of the force structure.

While visiting Uzbekistan in late January, U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, R-Harrison Township, encountered a group of local Reservists who remembered her from her days as Michigan’s Secretary of State.
