Capps Calls for More Studies on Possible Earthquakes and Impact on the Safety of Liquefied Natural Gas Facilities -
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Lois Capps wrote several federal agencies with jurisdiction over the proposed placement of liquid natural gas (LNG) facilities off the coast of Ventura County, asking them to conduct in-depth studies of the potential hazards of potential earthquakes damaging the facilities.

Capps Announces $31 Million for Housing at Vandenberg Air Force Base -
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congresswoman Lois Capps announced today that Congress approved $31 million in funding for scores of new housing at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The funding was included in the Military Construction Appropriations Bill, recently signed into law by the President. Capps strongly supported this measure.
