Dear
Friends,
Welcome
to the Fourth Congressional District's Internet site.
It
is my pleasure to provide information about the services available
to you through my office as well as my record in Congress.
Links to other relevant and interesting sites are also provided
for your convenience.
The
108th Congress has been very busy legislatively. As Chairman of
the Veterans' Affairs Committee, I've been working hard to enhance
services and benefits available for our nation's veterans.
I've also been active as Vice Chairman of the International Relations
Committee, especially with overseeing our nation's ongoing war on
terrorism. And of course, I've continued to work on several
other major issues including healthcare, the environment, and education.
I
hope you will return to this site frequently for news updates, information
on Congress, or if you need my help in solving a problem with an
agency of the federal government. If you are a resident of the district,
you can email me through this site. You can also telephone, fax,
write, or visit me at one of my three offices -- either the Mercer/Burlington,
Ocean/Monmouth, or Washington, D.C. constituent service centers.
It
is an honor to serve you in the U.S. Congress and I look forward
to hearing from you.
|
Sincerely,
Christopher H. Smith
