Diaz-Balart Praises Congressional Passage of Disaster Relief Assistance
Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-FL) joined his colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives in passing the Military Construction & Disaster Aid Spending Package this past weekend. Included in the package is $14.5 billion that will directly help bring additional relief to the people Florida and to agricultural producers throughout the state who have been harshly affected by hurricanes Charley, Frances, Jeanne and Ivan. Congress sent the package to the President yesterday for his approval.
