voted against the House Republican
version of intelligence reform.
The legislation, H.R.
10, includes many provisions
not recommended by the 9/11 Commission
and does not implement many of
its most important recommendations
regarding national security, intelligence
reform and civil liberties.

Arizona Water Settlements Bill
Passes U.S. House Resources Committee
The
Arizona Water Settlements Act,
H.R.
885, passed the Resources
Committee in the U.S. House of
Representatives yesterday and
now will move to the full House
for a vote. The bill will settle
water rights claims of several
tribes in Southern Arizona, including
the Gila River Indian Community
and the Tohono O’Odham Nation.
