HULSHOF’S ETHANOL, BIODIESEL PROVISIONS IN JUST-PASSED JOBS BILL
The U.S. House of Representatives has approved H.R. 4250, the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004. Among other things, this legislation includes a significant renewable fuels initiative authored by U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof. Hulshof’s provisions strengthen the ethanol tax incentive, create a new biodiesel incentive and properly credit gas tax revenues to the Highway Trust Fund (HTF).

HULSHOF: KIRKSVILLE TO RECEIVE SCHOOL SAFETY GRANT
U.S. Representative Kenny Hulshof (R-MO) announced today that the U.S. Department of Justice is awarding a Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) grant to the City of Kirksville. The $10,000 grant comes through the COPS Secure Our Schools program, which helps improve security at schools and on school grounds.
