Knollenberg Helps
Dedicate New Sound Abatement Structure at Oakland
International
On
Wednesday, U.S. Representative Joe Knollenberg helped
dedicate the new ground run-up enclosure (GRE) at Oakland
International Airport that reduces airplane run-up noise up
to 90 percent. Congressman Knollenberg secured federal
funds for the project that accounted for 80 percent of the
total cost.
