I want to take this opportunity to let you know that it is a great honor for me to represent the residents of this wonderful District. Constituent service has always been one of my top priorities and that is why I invite you to use this site as another tool for communicating with me.

I have had the privilege of representing you in Washington since 1989, and during this time I have fought for passage of legislation and support of issues that are important to the residents of South Florida. Improving the quality of education, protecting Social Security and Medicare, providing adequate health care, addressing issues affecting seniors, fighting for lower and fairer taxes, defending human rights, supporting legislation to benefit women, and preserving the environment continue to be priorities for me. I continue to work hard to bring visibility to these issues at the national level.

One of the most rewarding aspects of life as public servant is the ability to help constituents. It is very important for me to hear from the residents of South Florida, whether it by mail, phone or email. Caseworkers in our Miami District Office are always available to help you with Federal issues such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and Veterans Affairs. If you have any questions on legislation or simply want to inquire about a particular matter of public policy, our staff in Washington is ready to help you too.
