The communities of Minnesota's 5th Congressional District are rich in history and vibrant in people.  Throughout my tenure as a U.S. Representative, I have been proud to see how individuals and organizations strive to build strong neighborhoods and cities.  We are one of the most politically active constituencies in the nation, and I am honored to say that I represent the people of the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota. 

As the world becomes more technologically advanced, it is important that elected officials offer new resources to the communities they represent.  It is my intention that this website provide you with timely information as well as valuable services. 

Please take a moment to explore this site.  I hope you will find it a useful resource for information about the Federal Government: to learn about our legislative process and current issues before Congress; to set up Congressional tours of Washington, D.C sites; and for casework help.  I also hope the site provides interesting news, as well as helpful resources about our state and the cities of the 5th District.

Congress is responsible to the people, and it's my job to work hard to make real progress for working families in Minnesota.  My goal throughout my legislative career has been to bring the Minnesota values of common sense and can-do spirit to Washington, and to ensure that Minnesotans receive the high quality federal programs and services they deserve.
