, R-2nd District, today voted in favor of H.R. 10, the “9/11
Recommendations Implementation Act,” legislation to put into
effect the Sept. 11 commission's recommendations and give law
enforcement new powers to fight terrorism and curb illegal
immigration. Simmons supported the final measure after efforts
failed to make the bill identical with the bill passed by the
