Regula Announces Transit Grants for Stark County - September 10, 2004  WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ralph Regula (R-OH) announced today that the Stark County Regional Transit Authority (SARTA) is scheduled to receive $1.3 million in federal assistance for two transit projects in the region.  The funding announced today by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will be used to expand the current transit center in Alliance and to the renovate SARTA’s parking lot at its administrative and maintenance facility. Regula Includes $2 Million in House Bill for Canton Projects - July 26, 2004  WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ralph Regula (R-Navarre) announced committee approval of the VA-HUD appropriations bill for fiscal year 2005, which includes $2 million in funding for two projects in the city of Canton.  As Vice-Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, Rep. House Bill Extends Landfill Prohibitions - June 25, 2004  WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Ralph Regula (R-Navarre) announced today House approval of a bill that would continue to prohibit federal authorization of the proposed Ridge Landfill in Tuscarawas County, and the Indian Run Sanitary Landfill in Stark County.
