Managing
Health and Productivity The June 2004 report, "The
Business Case for Managing Health and Productivity" prepared
by the Integrated Benefits Institute (IBI) is now availble
on ACOEM's health and productivity site. This study reports
aggregate data on short and long term disability, group health,
workers' compensation, indicental absence and family and medical
leave programs from companies in 11 different industry groups.
In the study, IBI calculates and reports the lost productivity
that results from absence so that participants can target and
report their full ROI from health and productivity interventions.
The study also compares results across industry groups and
against best-in-group performers. Please visit ACOEM's Health
and Productivity site for this an other current studies.
