PROSTHODONTIC CLASSIFICATION SYSTEMS
The American College of Prosthodontists Classification Task Force has developed detailed systems to create a standardized criteria for clear evaluation of diagnostic and treatment complexity. As useful tools in any dental practice, these classification systems present a means of determining the level of Prosthodontic care required by completely edentulous, parially endentulous, or dentate patients. They are already being introduced to dental school programs and are an excellent way to share information with dental professionals outside the specialty.
NEW DISCUSSION GROUP FOR STUDENTS
The ACP Student Special Interest Group has opened a Yahoo Discussion Group for prosthodontic and dental students. This forum is intended to serve as a means for dental students to explore the specialty of Prosthodontics, find mutual support, share resources and be a forum for their views on the prosthodontic specialty and/or dental education.
