Wood Preserving Resource Conservation and Recovery Act Compliance Guide (PDF 303 KB, 117 pages) Published in 1996, this guide explains in detail the Federal hazardous waste regulations that apply to wood preserving (treating) facilities, with special emphasis on hazardous waste generation, drip pads, storage yards, tanks and sumps. It also includes compliance checklists for RCRA and summaries of some of the other applicable regulations under the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act.
