Genetics and Precision Agriculture Research Unit

Greetings from the Genetics and Precision Agriculture Research Unit.  We conduct research in National Research Programs 301 (Plant, Microbial and Insect Genetic Resources Genomics and Genetic Improvement) and 207 (Integrated Agricultural Systems).  Our genetic research is in cotton and we are working primarily in the plant breeding area of cotton to expand the germplasm base in cotton, to find genes for pest resistance, and to understand cotton at the molecular level.
