Objective:
To elucidate the interactions between various fungal endophytes isolated from coffee and the fungal insect pathogen Beauveria bassiana, which will be inoculated into coffee plants as a biological control agent against the coffee berry borer, Hypothenemus hampei (Ferrari) (Coleoptera: Scolytidae).

Approach:
1. Identification of metabolites from endophyte cultures. 2. Identification of coffee fungal endophytes that may be inhibitory.
