ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES (ATM)

Supports research on the physics of the atmosphere, with a special emphasis on cloud physics; atmospheric electricity; radiation; boundary layer and turbulence; and the initiation, growth, and propagation of gravity waves. The program also sponsors the development of new techniques and devices for atmospheric measurements.

Deadline and Target Dates:
Proposals may be submitted at any time during the year for all programs except those involving the allocation of observational and computing facilities.
