Question:
What is a good way to get started on an exercise program?
Answer:
See physical activity. If you are not currently involved in an exercise program, are overweight, or have had health problems, see your health care provider before starting. Start gradually with low-impact activities (such as walking) for 10 minutes a day. Slowly increase the time and intensity of your exercises each day.
