Pulmonary atresia is an extremely rare form of congenital heart disease. It involves severe narrowing or complete obstruction of the pulmonary valves (the valves at the outlet of the right ventricle).

Pulmonary atresia is associated with a patent ductus arteriosus. There is no known cause of Pulmonary atresia.
