New Genetics™: Medicine and the Human Genome is a multimedia CD-ROM
for those interested in the impact of genetics and genomics on healthcare
and society. It is appropriate for non-physician
health professionals, medical students, human genetics students, biotechnology
trainees, policymakers, and interested members of the public with a foundation
in biology.
The New Genetics™: Courseware for Physicians is a CD-ROM for physicians who have received little or no training in clinical applications of molecular genetics because the field has developed so recently. CME credits are available through Stanford University. The Courseware for Physicians was recently reviewed in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA, Vol. 286 No. 18, November 14, 2001). This courseware was developed in part by a grant from the Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues program of the U.S. Department of Energy Human Genome Program. |
