CDC sponsors two Science Olympiad events
- Disease
Detectives provides
students an opportunity to hone their skills as science sleuths by
learning the scientific method employed by epidemiologists—or
disease detectives.
- Science
of Fitness includes the mastery of
physical activity and fitness knowledge, exercise physiology problems,
and measurement skills. Emphasis is upon individual and public health
effects of balanced exercise and nutrition.
