Deadlines

Every DMR Program has a deadline or a target date for the submission of proposals. All proposals for programs not specified below have a target date of 1 November of each year.

Deadline Date
Programs with a deadline date will accept proposals for review that are received on or before the deadline date.

Target Date
Programs with target dates will accept proposals received after the target; however this may not allow sufficient time for consideration by peer or panel review for funding in the current fiscal year. Proposers should allow up to six months for review and processing. Submitting proposals on or before the deadline and target dates allows sufficent time for review and processing.

For more information, please see National Science Foundation's Grant Proposal Guide (GPG), NSF 04-23 (Replaces NSF 04-2).
